Simulating Horn with two drivers

Dear all,

how can i simulate a horn (tractrix) with more than one driver in it.
i tried out with hornresp, but i wonder why it makes hardly no difference, if there is on or more drivers which drive the horn- except of the higher spl.

how can that be? there is twice the cone area, which blow in the same throat.

hi Ralf

with two drivers, you have the advantage that you can shorten the horn , getting the same lowest Fc. In this case, you can keep the mouth area the same. If you arrange half of the drivers so that the cone side faces the horn throat, and the other half with the basket side facing the horn throat, you cancel out some of the driver distortion. Another advantage is , you will get a little more output on the low end.
